Privacy Policy
Last updated October 31, 2026. This describes what WhipScores collects when you use our website, landing pages, and app, and your choices.
What we collect automatically
When you visit our pages we collect first-party analytics to understand and improve the service:
- Pages you view and links/buttons you click, and the order you view them in.
- How you arrived — referring site and marketing campaign tags (UTM parameters).
- Device type, browser, operating system, and screen size.
- Approximate location (city/region/country) derived from your IP address. We do not store your raw IP address — only a one-way hashed value used to count unique visits.
- A first-party session identifier stored in your browser.
We do not attempt to identify anonymous visitors, and we do not buy or use third-party “identity resolution” data.
Information you give us
When you create an account, join the waitlist, book a car, or submit any form, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email, phone, and booking information — and may connect them to your prior activity on our site so we can serve and support you. Identity and driving-record verification for rentals is handled by our verification partners.
How we use it
- Operate, secure, and improve WhipScores and our marketing.
- Understand which sources and pages lead to bookings.
- Communicate with you about your account, bookings, and support.
Your choices
Our public pages use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure which ads and pages lead to bookings and to show relevant ads; staff and account screens do not load it. You can decline analytics cookies using the banner shown on your first visit — choosing Decline stops analytics tracking on this browser. You may also request access to or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU/UK or California), you may have additional rights under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us run WhipScores (e.g. payments, identity verification, messaging, hosting) and where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
