Terms of Use

Last updated November 2, 2026. These terms cover your use of whipscores.com and our landing pages. Renting, leasing or listing a car is governed by the separate agreement you sign for it — those agreements control, and nothing here changes them.

What this site is

The site lets you browse cars, see prices, start a booking, apply to drive, list a car with us, or ask a question. Availability and prices shown are live and can change before you book. A page is not an offer, and a booking is only confirmed when we confirm it and payment clears.

The agreement that actually governs your rental

Before you drive, you sign a rental agreement. It sets out the financial responsibility, insurance, fuel, mileage, damage, return and cancellation terms, and it is the document that governs the rental. Lease-to-own, vendor and operator arrangements each have their own signed agreement. Where anything on this site differs from the agreement you signed, the signed agreement wins.

Using an account

• Give us accurate information, and keep your sign-in details to yourself.
• You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
• Don’t use the site to break the law, to interfere with it or other users, to scrape it, or to get at data that isn’t yours.
• We may suspend or close an account that does any of the above, or where we reasonably suspect fraud.

Eligibility to rent

Renting requires a valid driver’s licence, a verification check, and — for rideshare driving — proof of recent platform earnings. We can decline a rental. Being able to start a booking on the site does not mean you have been approved.

Prices, payment and deposits

Prices are shown per day in US dollars before tax and any optional protection. Taxes, fees, protection add-ons and any refundable deposit are shown before you pay. Payment is taken through our payment processor; we don’t store your full card number. Charges that arise after a rental — tolls, tickets, violations, fuel, damage or late return — are billed to the renter under the signed rental agreement.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation and refund terms are in your signed rental agreement. If you need to change or cancel, contact us at (443) 363-5480 as early as you can.

Vehicle tracking

Our vehicles carry GPS tracking, and some carry a remote immobiliser used for recovery and safety. We say so plainly here and in the rental agreement. What we collect from it and how we use it is described in our Privacy Policy.

Your content

If you send us photos, reviews or messages, you keep them — you give us permission to use them to run and promote the service. Don’t send anything you don’t have the right to send. We can remove content that is unlawful or abusive.

Our content

The WhipScores name, logo, site design, software and photography are ours. Please don’t copy or reuse them without asking. Vehicle manufacturer names and rideshare platform names belong to their owners, and we’re not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

Third-party services

Parts of the service run through other companies — payments, identity verification, mapping, messaging and vehicle telematics among them. Their own terms apply to what they do, and we’re not responsible for their services.

Availability

We try to keep the site up and accurate, but we don’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or that every price and photo is current at every moment. We can change or withdraw features.

Limits

To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using this website. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be limited by law. Your rights under the signed rental agreement and under Maryland consumer law are unaffected.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Your signed rental agreement may contain its own dispute-resolution terms, including arbitration — where it does, those terms govern that rental.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Accessibility

We want the site to work for everyone. If something is hard to use with a screen reader, keyboard or other assistive technology, tell us at info@whipscores.com or (443) 363-5480 and we’ll help you directly and fix it.
